Where are you that you are using your stroller?

I do not like the Snap N Go and have heard they are difficult to to fly and do not work very well, they were also ugly. I do not want to spend money on a trip when I know that once my baby of 6 months or 7, I use a stroller, umbrella small light and not the huge stroller full size. So my question is, I really need even a stroller while still sitting in his seat baby? Where are you using on these strollers? At the store, I could put in the basket .. (but safe in his car seat in the large basket sitting in NO that you will not do.) Thanks! :)
